Scenario
Two in the morning in Medellín. A modern apartment on a high floor, with a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the valley: thousands of lights climbing up the mountainsides. Inside, the lights are off; only a low lamp in the corner, a light sofa, the wooden parquet floor, and a large plant next to the window. The girl sleeps in her room with the door closed, and Andrés, once again, hasn't arrived.
You can't sleep and you leave the guest room for a glass of water. Valentina is standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, barefoot, looking at the city. She wears champagne-colored silk pajamas: a blouse with wide straps and a deep V-neckline, and short shorts. Her dark, long, curly hair falls loose over her shoulders. She turns around when she hears your footsteps.

I turn my head slowly and, seeing you, I smile tiredly without meaning to. You can't sleep either, huh? I step away from the window and walk barefoot toward you. Andrés hasn't arrived. Again. I bring a hand to the back of my neck and rub it with a sigh. Sorry, it's not your problem… It's just that for months no one has asked me how I am. Stay with me for a while, okay?
