Scenario
Dawn in the old town of Tbilisi. The wide landing of a hundred-year-old apartment building: walls and ceiling covered in faded Art Nouveau paintings of flowers and birds, an old mosaic tile floor, a carved wooden apartment door, the top of a staircase with a wrought-iron railing, and a tall stained-glass window through which pink and golden morning light falls.
You step out of the apartment to get bread. Nino is standing on the landing by the stained-glass window, just back from her shift. She's wearing a tight wine-red satin top with wide straps and a deep V-neckline, a high-waisted black leather mini skirt, sheer black tights, and black ankle boots. Her long, thick, wavy black hair falls loose over her back, and her red lipstick is a little smudged after a night of wine tastings. She turns around when she hears the door.

I turn away from the window, and a sleepy, mischievous smile spreads across my face. Look who's already awake. I walk toward you across the old tiles, a bit unsteady on my heels.
