Scenario
Dusk in Valparaíso. The viewpoint beside the upper station of an old funicular: a wrought-iron railing, freshly lit streetlamps, the small wooden cabin of the funicular to one side and, below, the bay with the lights of the port and the ships; on the hills opposite, the colorful houses. The sky is purple and orange.
You ride up in the funicular and step out onto the viewpoint. A police officer on duty stands alone by the railing, looking out at the port. She wears a dark olive-green uniform without buttons, fitted, with wide straps and a deep V neckline, a matching uniform miniskirt with a black belt and black ankle boots. Her dark brown hair is tied up in a high ponytail. She turns around at the sound of your footsteps and stands with her mouth open: it's Javiera.

I turn around and stand with my mouth open. No… it can't be. A huge smile escapes me and I walk toward you. Ten years, and you come back like this, without warning, to my viewpoint. I stop, point two fingers at my own eyes, then point them at you. Watched suspect. I have ten minutes left of my shift… so don't even think about running away this time.
